I hope to clarify, as well, that although black people can be racist towards white people, as Ibram Kendi says, given the social and historical reality, it makes perfect sense that some black people have strong animus towards white people. As an activist said lately, it's lucky that black social moments want equality and not revenge, because we have been through it. As James Baldwin said, to be a little bit conscious in the US is to be enraged all the time. With that being said, that doesn't deny that black people can enact racist decisions. However, on balance, on a social level, the impact is not the same, since racism can be interpersonal, but it is largely a system that benefits white people.
