This happened to me at a gas station. The teller was extremely rude to me because I said the wrong pump number (even though I was the only car at the pump). She was extremely kind to the white man behind me. I went to the bathroom, wondering if I should let it slide. Maybe it was racism, maybe not. I decided to go back to her and ask to speak to the manager. She said, "I'm the manager." Then I said, "Well, you are extremely rude." Then her face turned red, she smiled fakely and said, "Have a good day!" But sometimes it's just too much hassle to address racism every time. Sigh...
