This is a very good point.

If we deny that these issues exist then we are just further feeding into ideas that men don’t experience emotions and can take verbal abuse just fine. Isn’t that the exact kind of stereotype feminists are actively fighting against?

This is a very good point. I used to confuse that men have more social power with the false idea that they didn´t have the right to be emotionally hurt.
